DT DeForest Buckner (elbow) doesn’t look like he’ll be an active participant in practice today.

He’s off to the side getting individual reps in on a tackle dummy. Brace on his left elbow, no helmet or pads.

No. He had back surgery. It takes time to get those muscles rebuilt. And he probably isnt in game shape due to surgery. Neither the coaches or Leonard know what he can due until he can do it in practice. They had to cut muscle to to take pressure off the nerve and reconstruct the nerve placement.

If he gets back before mid season, I will be surprised
