1) ) Losing on Opening Day, as though it was as common as the sun rising in the East and setting in the West.

2) ) Beating the Jaguars on their home-field.

Well, the Colts didn't win today, so they cannot claim to have gotten that monkey off of their backs ...... but I must say, a tie is a lot better than a loss, especially after having dug themselves a 20-3 hole in the 4th quarter before the offense finally came alive to score 17 points in the final 11 minutes of regulation.

The other proverbial monkey on their backs will have to wait until next week, when our beloved Colts visit northeastern Florida to see if they can (at long last) win a game down there.

Bad thing is that if our coach wasn't so fucking incompetent we would have won today, despite the fact that we completely sucked balls today. I'm sure we'll lose next week at the Jagoffs like we always do..........

I think Frank will make his normal stupid "analytics" decisions but Matt will pull the team together for a W.

Frank Reich didn’t drop a TD pass in the end zone, he didn’t muff five snaps, and he didn’t butcher a 42 yard FG.

HIS team did all that, and a lot more. At some point when the same thing keeps happening and there is one constant, the problem is the constant.

Not only did the Colts fail to get the #2 monkey off of their backs, but that monkey in fact got even larger in a complete disaster of a game.

It was the first time that the Colts were shut out since 2018, when they lost by a score of 6-0 to ...... the Jaguars, in Jacksonville.
