Playing for the injured Jalen Hurts, Minshew and the Eagles fell just short of beating the Cowboys in Texas ...... down by a score of 40-34 and deep in Cowboys territory with only seconds remaining in the 4th quarter, the Dallas defense got the stop that they needed to close out the Pennsylvanians.

The only turnover that Minshew committed today was when he stepped on the end-line for a safety, late in the 4th quarter ...... and I'm not going to put that on him, considering that that possession started out at the 2-yardline, and then devolved to the 1-yardline after an illegal procedure penalty on the offensive line.

Minshew took care of the ball today, and that is huge when you are an underdog playing on the other team's homefield.

Colts QB Gardner Minshew has been selected as a Pro Bowl alternate, marking the first Pro Bowl selection of his career.

Tackle football is not conducive to an All-Star exhibition game ...... they should have done away with the Pro Bowl 50 years ago, and just have had players named All-Pro First Team, All-Pro Second Team, and All-Pro Third Team.
