They need someone, looked awful against Detroit

Heck I wouldn't mind him as a back up or extra lineman even if Kelly was healthy

Not sure if he has anything left but if he does then sign him now

Can't start the season with both Kelly and Schwenke out. So yeah, see what he's got and then sign him if he can even just string 4-6 games together.

He just turned 31 years old on June 1st 2017.

He has played in 131 NFL games, started 117 of them all with Tampa Bay (6 seasons) and Baltimore (3 seasons). He was traded to SF during this past off season and released just this week when SF decided to go with Dan Kilgore and Tim Barnes at OC.

He has started every game he has played in during the last 5 NFL seasons.

Has played 16 of 16 games in 4 of those seasons with his 2015 season being cut short after 9 games due to a shoulder injury that put him on IR. He started all 16 games for Baltimore last season and went to the pro-bowl.

He was paid $3.5m in 2016.

Colts have just under $21m in free cap space. Back out $1m for spots 52 and 53 on the roster, $1.2m for the practice squad and around $3m for in-season "churn" space and the Colts have around $16m with which they could sign new free agents.

Honestly, sounds like a better solution for interior line depth that Schwenke for 2017 since he sounds like he is healthy. I like Schwenke for the long-term but if he cannot play right now...

Walk Worthy,

Reading about Zuttah from last year, even though somehow he ended up in the pro bowl as an alternate, his season was appalling.

Even saying that he is probably better than any other free agent available at this position of need. And i am certainly not interested in using a draft pick in a trade for a position that in reality is just awaiting two guys (with starting ability) to come back from relatively minor injury.

"Pro Bowl selections" are so meaningless anymore for so many reasons.

But he is a veteran that if healthy is certainly better than what we have, I can't imagine him being worse than what we saw this past Sunday. If there is a chance Kelly won't be ready for week one, seems like a good option

PFT is reporting that Zuttah has signed with the Ravens !! He must have wanted to much money, but what the hell, lets get a bargain basement center to keep Luck upright and injury free.

Let's just not play Luck at all until both he and Kelly are 100%.

Sounds good to me, but for all we know, Luck might be out longer than Kelly!!
