Well if we end up with the Jagoffs DC then maybe he can educate Reich and Co. as to how every other team has figured out the key to success against his shit show former team that for some reason Reich and Co. have completely failed at.

Darius Butler said he’s available
I’d be down with that even though he has no coaching experience that I’m aware of

Former player if you watch his game film breakdowns he sounds like a coach
He’s just as qualified as Chris Harris

We have an opening at defensive back coaching, I wouldn't mind that. Would like him to have proved he can coach a little anyway before giving him the whole defense.

He was on Mcafee show talking about how he teaches defense to some gms and front office people because it’s considered a “bonus” if you actually know about the game
He said today’s game is all situational football your not gonna hold all the teams in the NFL to 17 points anymore
I totally agree with that
It would be a stretch to hand him the defense but I definitely feel like he’s qualified
I’d still rather have a D coordinator with a lot of experience
Chris Harris surprisingly has 9 years experience but I still don’t want him

I agree with Oldcolt. Give him some sort of assistant position on Defense. It could even be some bullshit assistant to the DB coach.

Sometimes you just have to give a guy a chance, rather than always going with the safe choice! I'd love to see them give Butler a shot!

Rapoport indicates Jim Schwartz is on the Defensive Coordinator interview list as well.

The Colts plan to interview Titans senior defensive assistant Jim Schwartz for their vacant defensive coordinator job, sources say.
The former Lions HC and long-time respected DC is a strong candidate in Indy, which also interviewed Joe Cullen and Chris Harris for the job.

Just saw this myself. I know a few people whom could get behind this hire, but do we have the personnel to run it?

Methinks Jim Schwartz is a much better option than the names I have seen so far and if it disrupts the Tits in any, then I am OK with that...
"May the Schwartz be with you".... Just saying.:)

JMV was saying this from the moment Eberflus got the bears job

Some more names to add to the interview list for DC:

The Colts will interview on Monday and Tuesday for DC:
- Gus Bradley, defensive coordinator, Raiders
- Joe Whitt, Jr., secondary coach, Cowboys
- Kris Richard, DBs coach, Saints

The DC needs to form the D with what he has, not what he wants. Granted there is the draft and FA, but whoever gets the DC, they need to make the D fit the players

Schwartz would very similar to Eberflus imo. Off coverage by corners, pass rush by the front four. Same issues if they don’t get a dominant rusher.

Cullen has agreed to be the Kansas City DL Coach. Doubt he would take that position if he thought he had a chance to be the Colts DC.

The Chiefs are tinkering with their defensive staff, bringing in former Jaguars DC Joe Cullen as D-Line coach and moving Brendan Daly to LBs.

The Colts havent had a bell cow pass rusher since Mathis and his PED season
