Clark may be the only true starter who plays on offense on Sunday.

Well that's just awesome. Looks like we let Blythe go too early.

Multiple sources are reporting that Ryan Kelly requires surgery on his foot and will miss an unknown number of weeks this season. Colts are scouring the wire in order to find a starting Center. 😞

Don't put Luck out there til there's a legit starter. Zuttah and Mangold are probably the best options. This sucks.

I thought Schwenke looked pretty good in the film I watched of him, at least at guard. What is his timetable to return anyway?

I agree. I'm hearing Kelly will miss at a minimum the first two games. If that's right I think it's certain that they hold Luck out those games as well even if he could be ready to go.

According to Schefter, Kelly will have surgery on Friday to correct a bone defect in his foot. He will be out 6-8 weeks.

Crud.

With Schwenke out an undetermined amount of time, we have to sign a starter.

Nick Mangold (164 games started), Jeremy Zuttah (117 games started), Ryan Wendell (49 games started) are the best available on the open market.

All are over 31 years old.

Bring them all in and pick the most healthy one.

This sucks.

Walk Worthy,

FFS! This season is going to end up another shit show, at least that might finally get Pagano fired, but it gives him more excuses.

@RapSheet

The #Ravens have signed C Jeremy Zuttah to a 2-year deal worth nearly $4M base and a max of $6M with playtime, source said. Fills a big need

Colts were never going to offer anything close to that for a 6-week starter and then backup C.

I know, why protect your franchise QB with, you know, someone who might be able to block !!!!

I mentioned in a different thread that my thought was that Ballard was pretty sure Schwenke would be ready before the regular season started. And that is why he didn't pursue another center.
