Football games not involving the Colts are usually reserved for the NFL section ...... but I believe that this one would be an exception to the rule, considering the surrounding circumstances.

This will be a good measuring stick to see whether and/or by how much the Titans have slipped. Niners have been getting better, and they could win this, or the Titans could re-find themselves and control this game. It will be interesting to see which.

I have been looking for information on Henry’s return and haven’t found much to go on. I think they have been keeping it hush hush on purpose. Could be any time though.

Thinkin I read somewhere recently that Henry was likely coming back anytime now but all quiet as of late so anyone´s guess. Hoping the Tits get spanked either way.

If we are fortunate enough to win our division, we could very well wind up being a #2 or # 3 seed. The AFC North has 4 solid-but-unspectacular teams, and we own a head-on win vs. the Patriots.
I understand your desire to beat the hell out of the Titans as payback for the 2 regular-season losses that they laid on us, but I would prefer getting the highest seed possible, regardless of who our first-round opponent winds up being.

That was a weird one. If the LT doesn't grab Dupree he might kill his QB. And then he doesn't even get the offset penalties. They just throw out the offsides.

The only reason why that guy committed the offensive face-masking was because the defensive lineman was off-sides in the first place ...... that's just bad luck, as opposed to Garoppolo throwing the INT on the previous drive.

They would likely have blown the whistle for a clear path to the QB and gave the 49ers 5 yards...but when he grabbed the face-mask, I guess they had no choice but to call the penalty.

They didn't blow the whistle ...... that was the problem. Because the play was allowed to continue, the offensive lineman had no way of knowing whether or not the offsides was going to be called, hence his instinct to protect his quarterback. The offsides occurred first, THEN the facemask penalty was committed.

This feels like one of those Colts games, where the 49ers are going to make their fans fret before finally claiming victory ...... the wins over the Bills and the Jets were exceptions to that rule, as both of those games were over long before the final whistle was blown.

Thanks to Jimmy Fucking Garoppolo, the Colts just kissed their dreams for a division title good-bye ...... the Titans might lose to the Dolphins next week, but I don't think that there's any way that they will lose to the Texans in the season finale unless they allow Deshaun Watson to play (which they won't.)

Tannehill did his job tonight, in spite of being surrounded by a shitty offense without their best player.
Garoppolo, on the other hand, took what should have been a blowout in favor of his team and made it a competitive game with his ineptness.

Look at you making a good post! Yes this.
Colts lost this division when that happened. They needed to take at least one from them. Colts shot themselves in the foot too many times.
With that said they can still make some noise! If they somehow started clicking with any kind of pass rush in the playoffs then they are very dangerous. I don't think they have the pass rushers to do it. But if they can get it going for a few games. Look out.
Wild card teams make the Super Bowl. Some have won it. This is a year it could easily happen.

Agree with the sentiment that we do not deserve to win the division. Also agree that we could go deep into the playoffs, I also think we could be one and done. There are no great unbeatable teams this year and between this COVID shit hanging over our heads and the parity this year who the hell know what will happen? Might as well be the Colts going all the way.
