Have at it ladies!

My predictions:
1. Texans score first, and Chopped calls for Frank's head.
2. Colts score next four scores, with TY and Taylor going off.
3. Texans score again and WaynesWorld says, "Here we go again, blowing the lead and losing."
4. This is followed up with Chopped's second of ten calls for Franlk's head.
5. Taylor feasts again, and the Colts extend their lead.
6. Texans get another FG, and people say we are finished, and going to lose.
7. On the next drive, the Colts score a TD, to make it 48-9, with 2:07 left in the game. Chopped still wants Frank's head.

What's the over/under on the number of times Chopped calls for Frank's head?

The Colts lost to Russell Wilson's Seahawks before they got bad.

The Colts beat the 49ers before they got good.

Other than that, the Colts are 4-0 against bad teams, and 1-4 against good teams ...... take care of business against another bad team today, and they'll have another chance to add to their lone signature win of the season (which came against the Bills) when they play the Patriots in 2 weeks.

Thin in the D backfield and missing starting C, guy who makes the line calls. Loose another lineman, neither Banagu or Mack can help

Starting to wonder if there's some bad blood in the whole Mack deal.

Bad blood? I doubt it - although I am 100% certain that Mack is frustrated about being inactive on game days.

It really boils down to this - the 3rd string RB needs to play on the coverage teams for punts and kick returns. Wilkins did that as the 3rd RB. Deon Jackson is doing that right now.

I can fully understand why Mack wouldn't want to risk injury while playing on the coverage teams. And that means unless there is an injury to Taylor or Hines, Mack is going to be inactive.

I've heard this, but I'm struggling to understand it a bit.

In Week 5, Hines/Mack/Taylor were all active, and Wilkins was not. How did the team survive on special teams then?

This Week 14 bye week is some bizarre shit. Like has there ever been a bye this deep into the season? I'm used to them being 9 games in at the latest, not 13.

I don't even understand this whole concept at all. I don't know why they don't just squeeze the bye weeks into Weeks 7-10 of the season. Then give 8 teams off week 7, 8 off week 8, 8 off week 9, and 8 off week 10. Then each team doesn't have to wait so long or so early for one.

Or hell, even give like 16 teams off Week 8 and 16 teams off Week 9. There are still enough football games to be put nationally.

I was making a last minute decision at 11:55 on which defense to start today. Came down to the Cardinals (vs the Bears), Dolphins (vs the Giants), and the Colts defense. I almost pulled the trigger on the Colts, but my pessimistic Colts fan side wouldn't let me do it. Ultimately went with the Dolphins, which hasn't been a terrible choice, but man do I regret not going with our defense. Our scoring must be a little different than your league for defenses, but the Dolphins D scored 11 points in our league compared to 17 for the Colts.

Did Frank Reich get fired at halftime, and then re-hired at the 2-minute warning of the 4th quarter after Jim Irsay couldn't find a suitable replacement ???

I think the other thread about Parris Campbell starting to work out again confused a lot of people.

Parris Campbell was not active for today's game - he is still on IR and not on the 53 man roster.

This past week, the Colts were not even willing to provide any timing yet about his return to game action other than to reiterate the original timeline of around Christmas. They probably want to see how his body responds to ramping up his activities.

With a bye-week coming up, perhaps using Jonathan Taylor a lot today will wind up being a good thing, so as to avoid rust ........ a good game today, a week off to rest and heal next Sunday, then go get those Patriots in 2 weeks.

All joking aside, while it's not as bad as underusing him when blowing double digit leads, it's still stupid to overuse him in blowout wins. There's no reason he should be taking hits halfway through the 4th quarter when we're up by 24 against a really bad team that has zero chance of coming back.

If they take him out and the Texans score there would be screaming that we took our foot off their throat. Teams DO make comebacks.

Frank ran him. Used the clock and won the game. There can be NO ISSUES with Franks play calling this game. He did what we needed to do to secure the win.

JT has a whole week to rest. He's not old like me and many of you. He can bounce back and be fresh.

Two things the last two games showed the league. If you can't stop the run we WILL run it down your throats. If you send everything to stop the run Wentz will kill you with the passing game. Without the turnovers last week this would be considered the hottest team in football.

I still believe we are. Can't turn the ball over though

Maybe you're not one of them, but there's a lot of posters on here saying that it was a good thing that JT wasn't seeing as many touches early in the season b/c we needed to make sure he was fresh for later in the season/playoffs. While I don't disagree with load management for a RB, this should include late in the game in blowouts. We were up 24 against a team that had barely made a first down all game. They weren't coming back. And even if they do get it within 2 scores then put Taylor back in. Going with Jackson (side note: looked pretty good today) couldn't have ended any worse than what happened with Taylor.

I think the league has known for awhile that if they can't stop the run we'll run it down their throats. They also know that at times if they stop the run on a couple of plays (and sometimes even when they don't stop the run) we'll completely abandon giving the ball to our best player and start passing on every single down. Since our OL isn't very good at pass blocking and Wentz makes some really stupid decisions at times, this leads to a lot of turnovers and negative plays that have and will cost us games.

I am in two leagues. The one where they got me 24 points, they give 2 points per 4th down stop. Texans had to go for it on 4th a lot yesterday.
