Just heard on 1070 morning show. ESPN keeps a stat about yards before initial contact. Last night they have us at 7.2 yards before contact. Highest they have measured since they started keeping this stat.

The Jets suck, but they are supposed to have a decent Dline.

Good job OL!

Taylor’s vision and decision making are also insane

His acceleration is what gets me. He was a bullet through the hole on that big run last night. So fast even the announcer said wow as he shot through and then pulled away.

That’s what jumps out to me too. When he sees a crease, it’s like Buck said, he’s gone. And there’s no running him down. That puts an insane amount of pressure on the defense on every run.

His biggest improvement from last year to now is by far his vision.

Also helps if he isn’t touched till the second or third level.

Anyone that saw the post game interview of Taylor also saw what an intelligent, well spoken, and quality person he is too...we are very lucky he's a Colt!

I'm talking on the scale of Emmit, Walter, Edge, AP type of thing. Guys that define a generation. Him and Henry could be the two dudes at the position for the next 6-7 years.

Henry is about to fall off. They overused him and the same thing happened to him that happens to all backs who get overused: they break down and start having injury issues.

I agree... Titans are not the same team without Henry though. They relied heavily on him.

Can't overuse an offensive line

Somewhere I read he was clocked at over 22mph on that run. Insane.

As a track guy, it doesn't see as impressive. Bolt was over 27 MPH on his WR 100 meters. However, when you put in football terms, it is lightning fast.

I can hardly get my bicycle to 22 mph

That’s an insane stat but I wonder if it isn’t skewed by his long TD runs where he is never touched?

A median calculation would be more interesting here.

The Jets dropped from #6 against the run to #25. After one game thanks to JT and the Colts! Per Lawrence Owen.

Trent Richardson would have got -2 yards on the play JT took to the house. No joke.

Did he do it with pads and a helmet on after being hit by 200 to 300 lb men all night on field turf?

Bolts is ridiculous fast. Although I doubt he runs 27 mph in pads, helmet and football cleats.
