Several Colts were listed as Limited Participants today - Fisher (achilles), Campbell (achilles), Turay (groin) and Pinter (foot). Good to see Pinter getting back to some level of practice, he had been sidelined for a while.

Two Colts sat out practice - Big Q (back) and Rhodes (calf)

QB Carson Wentz was a full participant in practice today

From what I understand on LG Quenton Nelson: His back flares up from time to time and Colts play it super safe and keep him out of practice — like they did today. Same thing happened before Week 1 last year and he ended up seeing all 74 offensive snaps that Sunday.

It sounds like there is a chance for LT Eric Fisher to play Sunday. Frank Reich said the Colts are going to push Fisher in case he is able to go

With LT Eric Fisher practicing, Coach Reich told me Monday that prior to going on COVID list, Fisher's Achilles rehab was "phenomenal" and "way ahead of schedule."

Reich said they need to gauge his conditioning in practice and "we will accelerate it as fast as we can."

WR Parris Campbell “Achilles” issue . . . that is listed on the injury report . . . is merely some lingering soreness from what I’ve been told. I don’t anticipate it affecting his status for Sunday.

It's amazing that is even possible that 3 guys we thought wouldn't play ( Wentz, Nelson and Fisher) game 1 could all play. Even if Fisher doesn't still amazing.

Rhodes probably won’t play.

Loving the push of Fish.

Very little info on the nature or severity of this injury

This isn’t relevant this year, but I thought I would share. Saw this on Twitter about Buckner last year.

DeForest Buckner broke the 4th MCP joint in his right hand before the opener last year, played through it all season and earned 1st-team All-Pro. "Wasn't able to grab all year," he said. "Didn't have full strength. As a D-linemen, you need your hands. Those are your weapons"

Thursday update:

CB Xavier Rhodes misses second straight day, DE Kemoko Turay out with a groin injury after being limited on Wednesday

https://twitter.com/JoelAErickson/status/1436061490482749442

Full participation for WR Parris Campbell, limited participation for both LT Eric Fisher and LG Quenton Nelson are all good signs.

And OL Danny Pinter being back on a limited basis is sneaky important. Colts had trouble finding a third string center in camp.

Yeah, the only comment that Reich made yesterday about Xavier's injury was that it was "day-to-day."

I guess that is better than "week-to-week"

Friday update:

https://twitter.com/jimayello/status/1436384342960377860

QB Carson Wentz will start Sunday.

LT Eric Fisher, CB Xavier Rhodes and DE Kemoko Turay are all OUT.

https://twitter.com/zkeefer/status/1436391425827123202

As for LT Eric Fisher, Colts' early timetable had him back around Wks 3-4. Had a good week but "just not enough," Frank Reich said.

Week 2 is in play, but not a certainty.

Reich: "He's been as locked in mentally as you can be. When he's physically ready, I know he'll be ready to go"

https://twitter.com/zkeefer/status/1436392096261459972

LG Quenton Nelson will be QUESTIONABLE. He was a full participant today — sounds like as long as there's no flare-ups in his back, he'll be good to go Sunday. Reich has insinuated multiple times Quenton's determined as hell to be out there.

CB Xavier Rhodes has been battling an injury for a week or so. Reich says he initially thought it wouldn’t be a big deal, but it’s a little worse than Colts thought. Will evaluate Rhodes again next week

Rhodes hurts a lot. Not sure we have the CB depth to pull this off.

Turay needs to stay healthy. This is Banogu's chance to shine and take away Turay's spot as rush end. I have my doubts

Never expected Fischer to play week one

Expect Tell or Chesley (maybe both) to be activated for game. Someone needs to step up or we are toast.

Rhodes might be a game time decision. Wtf is wrong with Turay now? I have a hard time seeing that guy getting resigned.

Rhodes might be a game time decision.

The Colts have already designated that Rhodes is OUT for the Seattle game and they will re-evaluate his calf injury next week.

It is listed as a groin injury on the report.

When did they do that? Heard he might still play this morning on the radio. That means Ya-Sin is on Metcalf.

It might be time to say good-bye to Turay.

Get well quick Dayo. Looks like our GM knew what he was doing drafting two DE's in the first and second rounds instead of a project LT.

Today the Colts elevated S Sean Davis and C Joey Hunt from the practice squad to the Seattle game roster.

The Colts are only carrying 3 Safeties on their active roster right now so elevating a Safety for game day is an understandable move.

Am I the only guy who thinks it’s to early to give up on someone with his physical abilities?

No, but it is never too early to panic that the season is over.

So you would resign him? This is his contract year. He’s played in 11 games in two years.
