2021 Draft Class signings

With the last 2 CBA's, most of these rookie contract negotiations are more formalities rather than hard extended negotiations.

Still good to get these out of the way and signed.

And for the honor of putting his John Hancock on the dotted line, Spotrac is estimating that he will be paid $684,000 bones for this season.

Assuming he makes the 53 man roster.

The Colts have announced that five draft picks have signed. In addition to the 7th rounders, Kwity, Dayo and Shawn have signed as well.

Rookie mini camp starts tomorrow and runs through the 10th (May 7-10). I assume they have to be signed before camp begins? I'd hope they're signed up.

No, they can attend rookie mini camp without signing their contract. They can also participate in other off season organized team activities, too.

However, the "deadline" is training camp. They cannot participate in training camp without first signing their contract.

Kwity is the first 1st rounder to sign his contract.

The last two rookies have signed their contract - the entire class is now under contract. That doesn't surprise me at all - with the last few CBA's, 3rd rounders seem to have the most terms to negotiate. Since the Colts didn't have a 3rd rounder this year, they wrapped things up fairly quickly.
