Yeah it’s not a repeat thread. Hooker will have an mri in the morning.

Early word on Campbell is that he did not tear his knee, but also an mri in the morning.

Call whatever bowling alley Mathias Farley is setting pins in.

Edit-nevermind, he’s actually with the Jets.

We should be fine for now. Losing hooker is a plus

Agree. I also agree about your Campbell assessment.

Rapoport reports that the MRI confirmed that Malik Hooker tore his Achilles and is out for the season.

Source: #Colts S Malik Hooker did, in fact, tear his Achilles and he’s out for the season. A tough loss to a stout Indy D.

And Schefter with the news that Parris Campbell suffered a PCL injury. Currently, no timetable for his return.

Colts WR Parris Campbell suffered a PCL injury that is expected to sideline him indefinitely, per source.

Some PCL injury info I found online on a Jets board, in case anyone was curious:

https://www.ganggreennation.com/2015/9/30/9404257/eric-decker-recovery-time-for-a-pcl-strain

Looks like 2-8 week return timetable, depending upon severity.

Pelissero with the follow-up that it was a sprained PCL and MCL. The local beat reporters are now stressing that Parris' MCL was the main ligament that was sprained.

#Colts WR Parris Campbell suffered a sprained MCL and PCL on Sunday, source said. No clear timetable yet, but it’ll be awhile.

Source says there's a "low percentage" chance Colts WR Parris Campbell returns this season.

Campbell likely out long term, and that is a BS hit for the knees there.

With Parris Campbell being out for an extended time - the Colts brought in a familiar face for a visit today - WR Marcus Johnson. I would assume the "visit" was to get a COVID-19 test.

I went back and Decker's games played on Pro Football Reference for the 2015 season. It looks like he only missed 1 game. It will probably take Campbell longer, so he will definitely get IR'd. So maybe 3 games or after the bye week.

Franco Harris was often criticized and called "soft" for doing this, but he was able to make a Hall-of-Fame career for himself ...... plus, he is now 70 years-old and he's not suffering from dementia and/or Parkinson's Disease in spite of playing the brutal sport that he did for 12 and-a-half seasons between 1972 and 1984.

The Colts signed TE Hale Hentges to their practice squad. Not surprising given the injuries to Jack Doyle and Trey Burton.

Mo was great on Sunday but there is very little experience backing him up - there were 3 rookies between the roster and practice squad (Noah Togiai, Farrod Green, and Charlie Taumoepeau) for back up TE's.

I have read instances of Covid causing heart attacks in young people. Twice I believe. Could be too much cocaine also, his name is Rock.

Schefter was saying it's a stomach illness.
